Very well put.

Power or the perceived power can go to your head.

The preservation of the Classic Interface is of upmost importance to me. Second to that is getting my Smooch-Bot up and running again. The server is not scalable and I have to upgrade the Smooch-Bot due to high demand. <VBG>

Like I said before, I don't give a rats ass anymore who gets terminated or suspended.

Jory X. McKie: Personally, I think that all of the gurus should thank SI for allowing them a platform on which they could build their own businesses. No doubt that the relationships were beneficial to both sides, but there is no question in my mind that the respective gurus got the better end of the deal.

Instead of slamming SI, the gurus and the followers of the gurus should be thanking SI for providing such an effective promotional vehicle.

Ditto...

Regards,
LG

If anybody was to disappear from SI, I would not be any worse off than I am today

I disagree. SI is a community. I would feel worse off if you left si, for example.

Also to the stricter, narrower meaning of your post as far as doing one's own analysis, one doesn't have to do as others say to benefit from other posters. when we stop learning from others, we are dead.

(edit: i'm on beta...yuck)

Jorj: I, too, agree with you. The self-proclaimed stock gurus and paid website promoters aren't the reason SI has been successful and not many of us will miss any of them if they all disappear. Regards, Randy
