If the ATF and the FBI were so bloodthirsty, why didn't they invade the compound on day one? Why did they try, for months, to get the lunatic Koresh to release the children? Why did they spend so many days, weeks and months trying to negotiate a peaceful solution with the nuts inside Waco? Your theory that the ATF and/or the FBI planned to destroy the WACO compound, and kill everyone in it, doesn't fit with their months of begging Koresh to end the standoff peacefully.
