i agree with you also, ck.

take responsibility for one's own actions.

but the limiting case to people leaving is that everyone would leave. that wouldn't be good. if all we wanted to do was hear ourselves type, we could all get word processing software. i was just trying to argue that the community, although not perfect, is worthwhile.
