Nope, I am not over-reacting at all. This time around, it is not just a bunch of MPs criticizing the opposition. It is the entire so-called intelligentsia that are behaving like sheep. This is a much different and more serious issue than the one you describe.

Today, an overwhelmingly large majority of the so-called educated Indians (both in the US and in India) have allowed themselves to be brainwashed into thinking that somehow their lives will be better off if the religious minorities are "shown their place". Little do they realize that there is no way that they will be better off as long as they keep looking for scapegoats.

And coming to politics American, it was the same left-wing press that had already declared Bush the winner of next year's elections, that has now turned against him. They put Clinton through the wringer and it is now GW's turn. As simple as that.

PS : (FYI, I approve of many of Clinton's "middle of the road" policies, but not his personal behavior. But then I elected him to govern this country, not to be my priest!)
