Kemble,
My last computer was an IBM 52. I had the capability of connecting directly to IBM and have them fix my problems with out a service call. I did not avail myself of this service because most times, I was able to correct my own problems..

I'm sure what DELL is doing is even better than what I had.

As I said in an earlier post, DELL's offering does have some unique features and is very well thought out, but the general category is one where DELL had been missing capability which this offering fills, rather than a major step ahead. The link to MSFT is significant. This is an area which DELL has had to "sell around" in the past, so the offering makes the salesman's job a little easier.
