Exactly. AT&T didn't spend all those billions for cable companies so that they could give everything away. Neither did Paul Allen.

You're right that the "free" part of the package will be a silly marketing ploy. It won't be free in any real sense of the word.

Comment...so now you guys are saying isp not worthy because you'll have it in on cable almost whether you want it or not is that right?....maybe eventually thats true but for a long while I think it will cost extra money to have it so during that window gnet could be building loyalty with its free non cable isp for the eventual 6 out 7 cable boxes PA does not own. question does anyone know what percent of American homes are cable ready?
