Teflon, I usually have to deal with a month end selloff of my retirement account---sell today meaning it settles on August 31. Canadians have to pay a 1% penalty for any excess over 20% foreign content. All i have done is taken profits disguised as attempts to avoid this stupid penalty(or vice versa)----which applies to retirement accounts only. Gets calculated on month end holdings.
Now tomorrow, i can start buying since the settlement date for tomorrow's trades is September 1.

Now on to GMST. I am going to put it on a list of what i plan to buy on any opportunity. I don't plan to trade it much---going straight into long term holding. Going to buy a small position only until i have time to get really knowledgable. I need to diversify a bit more anyways and GMST along with some drugs and financials might be an idea.

I will keep you posted.
