I am not sure what you are talking about here. Are the italics your comments? If so, I think your being way to pessimistic on this stuff. As far as what Sprint is going to offer in broadband is a line of site service. It will have problems and it will be a fixed service. It will not be a mobile service nor will you just be able to pick up your semi-fixed laptop and move it 100 feet and expect it to work. What will be there is a fixed antenna which wires into your house or business and provides a DSL like service. If you happen to not be able to get line of site to the existing Sprint towers, then your SOL. It is a good service, but it has some maintence costs associated with it that if you have that in mind as your business model, it works. It can go for a range of 2-4 miles, but with a large dish that needs to be expertly aimed. If tree grows up in front of you next year, then you will have to do it again. If I had a small business and was located close to the towers, then I would probably opt for it as my company feed. The cost of a t3 is almost half the cost of one from PacBell.
