...he will reserve the right to review your attempts at wit when(sic) they are when the due course of events proves proves him once again to have been right all along.

Nice eulogy...but his track record isn't that stellar. He was right at times and wrong at times. His record keeping left much to be desired. He shot from the hip and hit a few too many innocent bystanders.

He is far from the worst poster on SI... But, was only too often indistinguishable from the "shill" and "hypester" handles which he labeled on so many others.

I have mixed emotions about his departure but he needed to be held accountable and I think he resisted that concept. Sure we enjoy freedom of speech but, in order to preclude anarchy, with that basic right comes a responsibility to truth and fair play. That sometimes eluded your friend.

<See the ZITL, CYBG, and TAVA threads to name just a few.>

You know, when Bill was attacking me on the TAVA thread, it really upset me ... because I wasn't a paid shill. I was someone who believed in the company and what they were doing.

Guess my enthusiasm, and organization with developing the TAVA Research thread came off as someone who was a paid shill. I was very naive back then. I'm not naive anymore.

In retrospect, Bill was right. The stock was being played with. I still don't understand how all of this works. And, I lost a lot of paper profits.

That experience taught me to not post on any stock threads anymore. Too much game playing going on. Too many people getting hurt. I didn't want to be a part of it.

I don't like Bill's style. But, he is often right. Not always, but often enough.

And, I'm angry that Anthony@Pacific has been terminated. This is plain wrong.

I never thought I'd hear myself say this, but I respect Bill Wexlar for making a stand with SI on this issue.

I wish both he and Anthony were still posting on SI. I've learned a lot - "lurking". Wish I learned my lesson sooner.

Both he and Anthony are a counter-balance with a lot of the hype, and B.S. by the real, paid shills ... that are actually posting on these threads. We need the counter balance on SI. Too much B.S. going on, and too many new people on SI who are as naive as I was a year ago.
