"Banking Industry Technology Secretariat" (BITS)
This organization is, I think, led by Gary Roboff, the guy from Chase who was quoted in the ISTPA release.

This company is referred to at the BITS site at bitsinfo.org. It is part of a $5 billion
enterprise called SAIC. Interestingly enough, they have a new
magazine called ELECTRONIC TRUST.

Bob Frith of Motorola, Roboff of Chase, and Mark Greene at IBM are, it appears, all pretty familiar with each other. On the face of it, it would appear that IBM has taken a lead role in bringing a good many of the ISTPA folks together.

IBM, apparently, sponsors an organization called the Key Recovery Alliance which supports the deployment of a cryptographic infrastructure. It's at kra.org. About four of its members are represented in the ISTPA.
