Druss, my experience is different. I have seen honorable companies completely ignore slander because they were about the companies business and did not have time nor inclination to divert attention to frivolous lawsuits. Whether Wexler has resources to defend himself or not is problematic. The difficulty a company has in identifying, quantifying and recovering losses is substantial. Other companies have vigorously defended themselves. More likely than not it is the personality of the decision - maker which drives this train. Often those companies with the least to defend make the loudest noise.
