That said, the current San Diego City Schools Sup is shooting for state office. Just watch. His treatment of both students and teachers indicates his talents lie somewhere other than improving student achievement.

Andrew: While a fun little and oft repeated word string, I've frequently felt that those who believe it have experienced the misfortune of never having had a teacher who had, in fact, done. Fortunately, I have had some outstanding teachers who also have accomplished outstanding success in the *real world*. Interestingly, they also were my best teachers. Just a pre-market musing.
