(something a little different, in approach) topic: loose ends Trevor, using that phrase "time for a reality check" along with my procedure to post on the threads of SI without a flow of information thru e-mail and Instant Messages and the Thread Private Post to exchange information and comments that will be hidden from others, so what you read from my posts contains all of the information I put forth. Eventhought I understand the view of Dave Webb that the shareholders interest will be served thru his activities in the mining arena to locate and identify and present the how and why in a technical manner, I have expressed my view that in parallel an effort must be made to present this company to people in a way that Dave can obtain their trust, and from that people will invest into this company thru buying it's shares. This approach will only mention what minerals are being dealt with, their location and importants and value to the company to be reflected in increasing shareholder value. I have mentioned this company to people I know that have large amounts of disposable resources that can be converted into cash and invested into this company for speculation purposes. My approach was to simply identify the company web site as a place for them to decide if a further investigation was warrented. Each time the returned observations were the same, in that these people felt that the web site was not conducive to being used as a mechanism to identify what the company is about. I mentioned to Dave last year that only a person with experience in natural resources could filter thru whats presented there, along with needing insight into the current state of the mining industry. Dave's reply was that those who visit the site want technical information, and eventhough I see Dave's point I suggested back then that the company web site home page have a full non technical description on its home page with two entry points, one for those wanting indepth mining technical facts requiring a strong background in the such, and the other enter point for those only looking for a past present and future identification top level of information. Those persons I contacted to look into this company as a possible investment place only wanted to get enough current and accurate information that they could relay into a quick investigation for verification. From: Trevor R. Teed Thursday, Feb 25 1999 I admit MGR shares are undervalued, particularilly when its mining properties are reviewed. The Bumbat mine, its mill and other MGR Mongolian properties are very attractive. MGR also holds a 50% interest in a past silver producer with great future potential in a world reknown silver camp in Canada's NWT. MGR also holds 4,000,000 million shares in Alberta Star Mining Corp. MGR has little debt. a usual company killer. From: Trevor R. Teed Saturday, Aug 28 1999 Hi Dave: I remain surprised the lack of attention Tyhee's VMS receives from the shareholders on this forum. This is a unexplored property and it is about to be drilled for the first time. There are very few NEW PROJECTS on the go these days, usually just recycled projects back under a different name. This is a brand new project and it has received no attention. I am not sure how Tyhee managed to convince Robin Goad of Fortune Minerals to make a deal on this ground but it could well be the scoop of 1999 in NWT. Congratulations, an unexplored massive sulphides deposit near infrastructure in the NWT, truly a real accomplishment. I know the major mining companies are always interested in such a find and I also know the location of this property must have all majors drooling. Bring on the drill program. Name Trevor R. Schaller Saturday, Aug 28 1999 Trevor, It's hard to get excited when we are down to an effective $.03/share. Any new project will require new money. Any new money will require dilution. Any dilution will be accompanied by further share depreciation. Highly prospective properties would fall into Tydee Bowls hands only by accident/avarice/incompetence. The owner of such a property is probably having his head examined at this very moment. On the other hand the owner may have had difficulty getting other companies interested for (less obvious) reasons that may become obvious once the money is spent. I noticed it has been 4 mos since posted to any of these forums. Why now? Are you affiliated with TDC/MGR?
