Excited? Heck Yes! New record highs every day! Actually I took profits today, taking 50% off the table. Gotta retrace sometime, my timing may not end up being perfect, but I've learned to take 50% off the table whenever I get a double. Failure to do that has ALWAYS cost me more than the times I took profits too soon on a double. Anyway, don't need Tums now, since I've got some rockets where my remaining positions are pure profit, yet I have cash on the sidelines to catch pullbacks.

FYI, over the last 2.5 years I've become a pretty good picker. NOT very good at timing yet - most of my big winners were paper losers for a while, while wondered what was wrong with the market. Hope others on this thread had a better entry point than I did (4 9/16 a little after this thread started)

BTW, A BIG thanks to you Dude 4 the heads up on this probable gem. Scott

PS. Another lesson that is paying off well is sticking closer to what I know. Got my rear kicked in industries I knew nada about - oil, macheine vision, high tech GAS diodes, environmentally safe cell phone antenas...

Went back to things I knew - drugs, lab tests, computer networking and storage. Went from a prime time screw-up to being fairly successfull (IRA's up 40% YTD)

Anyone with some hard insesting lessons from the school of life please feel free to add. Lots of sharp folks on this thread.
