Good idea Clang. Nearly half of those earnings plays for July closed higher two days before earnings than they did the day of earnings. That includes only those stocks that triggered buys earlier than two days before earnings. You would only have lost an average of .4% selling two days before earnings. Selling one day before earnings would have been the same, too. Something for me to investigate further.
