yes. the "welcome to si" thread sits atop the hotlist now and has been the most interesting place to me on si for the last few days. si is a puzzle right now. they move forward with datek and beta which seem to be ivory tower moves to enhance revenues without regard to user wishes...then they turn around and dump 2 of the top 3 posters which seem to impair revenues. I happen not to like the gurus, myself....but I don't understand where si is coming from these days. and we receive little communication telling us what's up. another example, to me, is that supposedly we were talking to the atlanta killer, mark barton when we spoke with the kidney guy, k44b. to my knowledge, si management has not commented on whether this is true or not.
