BrowseMaster would be worth my time if it was a viable internet business. That would mean I could try to sell it for 100 times revenues. However, I have not figured out how to create a viable business from the product, so there is no financial incentive to continue supporting and maintaining it.

If you decide to ditch it permanently perhaps you could release the code as open source and appoint someone as the keeper.

I understand that Craig. Your product has been a great timesaver for so many on SI, and SI is such an important tool in our investment lives, many of us sure wish there was a way for you to continue with the BrowseMaster product.

I certainly appreciate what you have done.

Craig, I want to thank you for BrowseMaster, too. It's been (and continues to be) a wonderful improvement to the classic SI format, and is vastly superior to the 'new' SI.

Great work and good fortune to you!

Craig,

You have developed a product that has saved untold hours for many on this site. Despite the fact you have not been adequately compensated, please remember that you are appreciated and your effort has resulted in countless SI members being able to spend their time in more worthwhile activities than hitting the refresh button (I, for one, have been able to spend more time with my family).

When someone unselfishly contributes to the betterment of his/her fellows, a great accomplishment has been achieved. I see BM as your pro bono contribution to many of us. Thank you and in the grand scheme of things, I believe you will eventually be rewarded for your efforts and unremunerated dedication to this product and to us.

God bless you...

Lifeisgood

Craig, I am sure you know, how much we all like BM. Please continue to support SI. In addition please start BM for Yahoo and raging bull boards. I believe the product will be very popular, it is just a question of awareness...

If you allow me to ask, what is the price range you are looking for, so you feel it is worth the effort? Can I suggest like an annual fee of $29.95/-, so that is it an ongoing revenue or like one time fee of $199.95/ etc. and in case of major upgrade like SI beta, one has to pay for upgrade...

Who knows, one day you will be surprised to get a call from RB/Infoseek/Yahoo etc. showing interest in your product...

Just my thoughts...
DB

Hi Frank,
Your activation key is xxxxxxx - make sure you enter your old e-mail address, otherwise it will be rejected.

You'll need to change the date on your PC if you want to re-install BrowseMaster, but you shouldn't need to do so. Re-activating it should do the trick.

Regards,
Craig

Got it. I think my version was so old that the installer wouldn't work. I uninstalled and got the current version ok. Re: configuring to the correct SI address - I thought this meant just pointing the browser to talk.techstocks.com. I finally found the BrowseMaster Configuration Page with the new version of BM and made the change, so all is well.

Thanks,
Frank
