Now, that's not a fair comparison. My 8 cylinder Mustang is faster than my four cylinder Hyundai:-) Sorry, I should have continued the thought, but it's so obvious to me that I forgot: if a Desktop single user system can't stay up for a week, how well do you think a 4-processor multi-user server would work, based on the same NT software? My experience of multi-threaded multi-processor multi-user systems is that it would be much worse. But I'm being unfair. I'm comparing Windows NT with Solaris. :) P.
