<Tom has released his how to overclock the athlon guide.>

So all you have to do is pry open the cartridge, stick an ultra-fine-point soldering iron on the daughtercard, and move those extremely tiny resistors around. All on a hard-to-find CPU that costs $600 to $800.

Yeah, I know Tom Uberclockermeister is a doctor by trade and probably has the dexterity of a surgeon, but I don't think the average gamer will have the skills necessary to pull off something like this.

Survivin - RE: "Tom has released his how to overclock the athlon guide. According to him, if you have the guts you can get an athlon to 750 reliably without any additional cooling. This ought to raise even the most skeptical gamer's attention. Also suggests the 700 is ready the moment it is needed."

Quite impressive on the same process which wasn't even expected to reach 300MHz, according to an "expert".

This shows AMD *will* be able to fight head to head with Intel in MHz the rest of the year.

Where's Cuontimemine, the chip that will only be able to compete against the Athlon in MHz and not overall performance?
