Gersh,

So far the 3-DAY PATTERN is working, but its still early in the day.

So if today closes relatively flat, then DAY-3(MONDAY) is commonly down, and could be down strong similar to DAY-1.

I consider flat being +/- 50 DOW points.

The Advance/Decline is about even right now, but am noticing LESS weakness in the NEW HIGHs/LOWs, although it is still early. I would feel more comfortable with DAY-3 being down strong if the NEW HIGHs/LOWs were weaker, not to say it still cannot happen.

Gersh,

Understand that you try and time your 401k - I try and do they same. Could you please go into some detail on what you use and how often you go from MM to Fund and back again. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks. JG

Gersh:

I too would be very interested in how you time your 401. How you pick exit and entry times.

My previous analysis had shown that overall we would be OK into the middle of Sept. The market certainly has taken on a more bearish note following Greenspan comments.

Am interested in your input.

Thanks,
Sam
