Weiner & Associates

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 27, 1999--Pacific
International Enterprises Inc. (OTC BB:PCIE - news) and its "The
France Group" division in Goldendale, Wash. is a 300,000 unit
capacity, state-of-the-art, board sports manufacturing operation,
which includes the in-house brands Twenty Four Seven Snowboards
(www.247snow.com), Wake Tech Wakeboards, Rift Snowboards and
Microski.
24/7 Snowboards racing program is acclaimed worldwide, with
Olympic Gold Medalist Ross Rebagliati signed to an exclusive snowboard
promotional contract through the 2002 Olympics.
The agreement with Weiner & Associates is for the term of one
year effective Aug. 15, 1999 through Aug. 15, 2000. Weiner &
Associates will provide management services in connection with the
establishment, direction and maintenance of a domestic network of 35
independent sales rep's that will be responsible for specialty chain
and mass market sales of all The France Group brands and sub brands.
Dave Weiner has more than 20 years national sales management
experience, hiring and managing commission sales representatives
specializing in mass market and the sporting goods market. He will be
managing and directing sales calls to retailers that could include,
Oshman's (AMEX:OSH - news), Sportmart (Nasdaq:SPMT - news), Sports
Authority (NYSE:TSA - news), Sports Chalet (Nasdaq:SPCH - news),
Wal-Mart (NYSE:WMT - news), etc.
Prior to entering into this agreement with PCIE, Weiner was
director of sales for a division at Time/Warner (NYSE:TWX - news).
Binks Graval, chairman and chief executive officer of PCIE,
stated, "This year PCIE is focused on developing a number of sales and
marketing alliances to feed orders into the facility. This strategic
alliance with Weiner & Associates enables The France Group to
capitalize on the long standing relationships and contacts that the
independent rep's have developed over the years with respect to the
specialty chain and mass market buyers."
