So what are your top 5 ripe for the long haul plunge stocks now?

Based on a careful analysis of my trading results over the past two years, it seems that I do fairly well going long, and terribly on the short side. I am therefore 100% long at present. Part of my problem was that I shorted many issues because I believe they were insanely overvalued, and have since learned that insanely overvalued companies can easily become ten times as insanely overvalued.

But if we're talking about playing with paper money, I'll mention three that I don't like so much:

CDRD's chart for the past year looks something like a sine wave, and at 26, they are still far below their high of almost 40, but are good to keep in mind. It's amazing to me that they have actually succeeded in raising so much money, signed broadcast agreements, and found someone to make radios for them. But the technology remains unproven, as many suggest that radio reception will be badly affected by things such as buildings, mountains, leaves, rain, or speed. The business model is also unproven: how many people will really shell out hundreds for a receiver, plus $10/month, just to have more choices and hopefully better quality sound while driving. Iridium failed, and CDRD may also fail.

AVNT still isn't bankrupt and worthless, with its assets turned over to CDN. Civil and criminal trials will be starting up in a month or two.

I still don't like BVF.
