"given the time and cost constraints I don't believe it is possible"

I am not asking Quotes Plus to fix this data. I am asking them to notify their data provider to fix the problem. If the data provider can fix the data in a timely manner, then we all win.

When errors are found in the data Quotes Plus has been very good about sending out corrections to the data and when users find errors they must report them to Quotes Plus.

I'm sure they have. But that is too late when you find out about it the next day. Having the CUSTOMER find errors is not good enough pal... means there is a hole in the system of quality. Every product has its problems, but in the context of what the problem is in this case, these are totally fixable.

Question:
When would that CPQ problem be fixed?

Answer:
It wont. Because unless if someone like me saw it and notified Quotes plus, it would be data stuck in your database for the next two years. And who in the hell wants to look through every data point in the set to verify it is accurate - thats not my job... thats what I'm paying for.

The ramifications of the incorrect data is that it throws off the technical indicators. Give that most of you are self proclaimed T/A gurus, having incorrect signals thrown resulting from bad data is like driving down the street with three tires.

Timing is everything.
