When has CSCO ever screwed up? (I am long CSCO and happy about it.)

As I watch the Tlab battle taking place at $64 it occurs to me that the sheer magnitude of the discrepancy between Cerent's income and the price paid makes it hard to gauge the value of the acquisition. Kind of like the internet stocks and their lack of earnings. It seems so ridiculous it makes you think CSCO must know what its doing. I hope so.

Don't kid yourself. CSCO knows what it's doing. It shows a confidence bordering on arrogance. They spend their stock like drunken sailors thinking they have the golden touch.
