Regarding the issue of CDMA supposedly not sending e-mail text, the pdq phone stuff on the web does show that a touch-sensitive keyboard appears on the screen for the purpose of inputting text. The mail software clearly says it sends and receives e-mail. So we are certainly led to believe that it sends text messages in e-mail.

That contradicts everything we've recently seen in this discussion, so I'm at a temporary loss. I assume you've been following the thread on the more recent Q folder that clarifies the SMS and its role in e-mail.

Yes, the pdq is definitely CDMA-based.

By the way, I used a cell phone for the first time for about two minutes the other day. Lindy and others will be relieved to know that! :)
