<<. If they don't, they will never have a product out there in time to compete and there will be another repeat of a failed product offering as was their flash digital recorder, which they never did complete and market.>>

Really?

"We are pleased that--because of their confidence in Norris' digital voice recording technology--Sanyo is
expanding its distribution throughout Europe." said Fred Falk, President of Norris Communications on March 24, 1997.

Amendment Adds Distribution Throughout Europe

SAN DIEGO, Calif., March 24, 1997---Norris Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: NCII)
today announced that the Company has expanded the contract originally signed in October with
Sanyo Information Systems U.K. Ltd. to increase distribution into all of Europe. The contract
amendment includes an opening order in the amount of $107,000.

Under the terms of the amended agreement, SANYO Bro-Electronic Europa will private label
Norris' digital voice recording and editing products, under the Sanyo name, to complement the
Sanyo analog voice dictation product line. Sanyo will private label multilingual versions of the
Norris Flashback hand-held digital voice recorder, the Flashback VoiceLink sound recording
peripheral, and the Flashback Mobile Office, a combination of the two products.

"This is an even more significant agreement than the original Sanyo contract because the Sanyo
brand name will be used for the first time on these products, increasing their visibility and
marketability" said Fred Falk, President of Norris Communications. "We are pleased
that--because of their confidence in Norris' digital voice recording technology--Sanyo is
expanding its distribution throughout Europe

Oh well, 1997 was before my time. Maybe TWOMIL does "know his stuff."

<<I am not concerned about whether Sanyo will contract with eDig for all or portions of their music handheld. If they don't, they will never have a product out there in time to compete...>>

LOL!

sdr, is that the same logic that explains why all these other players ( the-gadgeteer.com ) are on the market (or will be soon) that don't contract with EDIG?
