American Express to unveil global credit card in a fortnight in India

AMERICAN Express will launch its global credit card within a fortnight. All existing Amex credit card and charge card-holders in India will be able to convert their cards into global cards at no extra cost. Amex is now the third bank in India to offer a global card. Standard Chartered launched the first global card in March 1999, with Citibank following with its global card three months later.
