BIG Brother Can Now Tap Digital Cellular Data....

>>FCC wiretap rules delight FBI, disappoint critics
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Federal Communications Commission Friday gave the FBI new authority to tap digital and wireless phones, delighting the Justice Department and bitterly disappointing privacy advocates and local phone companies.

Hot off the press from yesterday.

This looks like a momentum play gone astray.

The FCC has given the FBI power to map, locate, track and store any and all data - voice, text, numeric - which is transmitted over the nation's wireless networks.

Looks like a massive "back door" move to me.

Where are our representatives?

Are OUR voices being represented in this decision?

Anyone esle awake out there?

Or should we just all roll over and trust that the people behind this move are just trying to protect and serve us.

Peace.

GO!!

How Stupid of Me....

>>BIG Brother Can Now Tap Digital Cellular Data....>>

And here I thought the Cyberspace Electronic Security Act was going to be an open forum for the public to discuss the merits of such expansion of power.

Grabbing/taking now while asking for forgiveness later seems to be the strategy.

This is a really surprising move to see happen so quickly.

There's a vast store of trust built up in our government. Again, milking it now while we are all asleep and before we can understand, much less organize, seems to be their strategy.

Peace.

Notice - I didn't sign "GO!!"
