mmeggs -

I've been saying for some time now that Old G has really really got it in for the market.

He never misses a chance to hiss his venom except that recently the frequency of his invective has increased as he has been faced with what for him are the unpalatable facts that:-

the economy is slowing,

inflation is miniscule

unnaccountably to him the economy still grows at rates that in the recent past would have caused inflation

Worse still for him any further interest rates hikes on top of the already unjustifiable ones he has made will cause a real break in the economy which he is smart enough not to want to be held responsible for.

So again today more of his views on valuations. He never seems to express an opnion that the success of the market has helped fule the growth in technology that has underwrites this great period and the magnificent eceonomy that it has provided to these United States. He never seems to question why it is that tech ideas and young companies can grow here as nopwhere else on earth and that perhaps there is a corelation between the success of the market and the growth in technology.

No all he questions is whether there is a link between the success of the market and consumer demand and that therefore the market might be an influence on inflation ie maybe lets have a few more rate rises until this unwarranted cuurent suucess is replaced by a market collapse. The he will be happy and say I told you so.

Why doesn't he question the price of oil that the OPEC gangster are forcing on the world. Why doesn't he go on and on about those scum bags?

Best regards,

L

I think Rubin is a genius, I was talking about AG. Do not forget 1 month before Crash in world markets GREENSPAN was leaning towerds higher rates. He didnt see the colapse of 1/2 the worlds economies? He has done some good, but history has shown that we will have ups and downs.
