The man is dangerous. he is way too full of himself. So much for a free market society. Mr. Greenspan aims to: 1) control prices 2) control demand 3) control supply 4) control interest rates 5) control asset prices (stock market) have I left anything out. At this rate, i hope the next prez doesn't reappoint him. The folks at the fed have forgotten their mission. It is now clear that Greenspan and prosperity just can't co-exist. It was intersting to note that greenspan's personal portfolio lost money in 1998--- what a putz! I am amazed that the market didn't crash today. Absolutely amazed.
