said the extraordinary rise in stock prices the last five years has been mostly
inexplicable

what is inexplicable is why did Greenspan marry someone so beautiful and about twnety years his junior who trades mainly in equities?

I think the media used the term "inexplicable" because they didn't have time to read what he really said, so they invented "inexplicable" as a means of defining their own ignornance.

better:
said the extraordinary rise in stock prices the last five years has been mostly
("I don't know what the H else to say so I'll just say "inexplicable" because "inexplicable" is longer than most of the words in federal vocabulary reports and it sounds important and scary") inexplicable
