Yeah, confident enough that ford, mercedes, gm, volvo, vw, hyundai, daewoo, samsung, honda, suzuki, .. are all building factories in india than in russia. Yes, they place Russia at a higher risk compared to India. But the acid test is -- India needs nearly $ 200 billion in infrastructural investments alone to sustain a decent growth rate in the next decade. And almost all of it has to be raised from outside sources. If that happens, then you can say that there is a vote of confidence. Not until then.India - pak was issue right. Now you whine,.. please don't talk about teh issues. I only want to bay. The reality is -- you can make India "shine" only when you place it alongside Pakistan. (And even there, you will find a few nasty surprises that you may want to turn away from<g>). That is the reason why you have to keep going back to comparing India, "tomorrow's superpower", with Pakistan today! As I said earlier, the US doesn't need to keep proclaiming that they are better than Mexico. Most people kinda know that. But when it comes to India and Pakistan, people are not so sure. And you know that, don't ya?! So you feel compelled to make that juxtaposition everytime. "in a country where he cannot drink the water! Which means that if they are really sticking to their ideals, they should have ZERO investments in India." <g> Sadly, they do in india, but not in paki land. Where did you get those numbers from? I have seen their reports from a couple of years ago, and they had nothing invested in India. Btw, just got an email from a friend in Bangalore saying that a large part of the city's water supply (well over 70%) is contaminated with feces, and that nobody in the local water supply board is doing anything about it because it is "election time"! The sad part is, most of the common people are going ga-ga over the saffron-langots "leading the country into the next millennium", even as they drink sh*t diluted by water! <g>
