Does anyone have the detailed daily TRADE LOG of just before the 18 March 99 for ORXX as the last date on thre DETAILED daily logs is only the 18th of March? I am doing some Due Dilly. Unlike some miners, I have not bot in. <vBg>
I think we must see if there was a PUMP up. If that was the main unanswered question, then a start at below an apparent dollar Price Level would appear to be part of the total picture. Facts in detail form only accepterd from start of 4th March 1999.

Hi Zeev,

How goes the turnip harvest?

In their earlier releases they said they have contracts with Phelps Dodge to sell the silica for smelter flux. In fact, Gary said originally that he was in this for the Silica. The only problem is that Phelps Dodge no longer has any smelters in Arizona. They have all been closed permanently.

Tim

Zeev, How about giving enough of the PR to put that in context?

Discovered from a gold outcropping on the site, the mine was drilled by FMC Corp. and Energy Fuels Corp. The detailed development drilling defined a large vein of 90% silica, which washes out to nearly 99% pure silica (possible fiber optic grade). Silica is used in fiber optic cable, computer chip manufacturing and the main component in automobile tires, specialized glass and paint amongst many other uses. Silica prices range from $20.00 per ton for lower grades to over a $1,000.00 per ton for fiber optic grade ore.

Silica is a
byproduct of Santa Maria in the normal course of operation. Because the gold ore was historically processed using cyanide extraction, silica from the Santa Maria was contaminated and not suitable for sale. Orex's environmentally safe gold extraction process could permit the company to sell ''non-contaminated silica'' from its daily operations. This may represent significant additional revenue to the company.

And then your comment on this part of the PR which you can now see in full context is.

By gosh, that is smelly for a gold miner to be digging for quartz, there are so many sources of white sand (pure quartz), no one is mining quartz for fiber optics and chips.

The gold is in the silica it clearly states that it is a byproduct of the mine. That the HGP will make into a product that has some value. What is smelly about that?

hmmm well they quoted from the FMC report and the fuel energy report. Silica if it is good quality could be $$$ maybe not as much as other ores but money just the same.

As publicized as this company is, I wonder why we only have a small group of bashers with the expertise of a man who uses his license and influence to try and imply this is an illegal scenario. Wonder why he has not checked it out completely before publishing his professional opinion to naysay this stock? And there is a lot more I want to know.

I am careful with all OTC stocks and all I can do is verify. Besides I do not know much at all about mining and most are BS in my opinion but I wont to see if the HGP is what the reports say.

I am not hyping and I will do verbal warfare with the bashers ... no problem. Wish they had more facts instead of innuendoes.

:-)
