"getting sucked off". No. "getting sucked off base"....that's what I said. Baseball term, pretty clear if you've ever been on first with a wily pitcher on the mound, or on second with a 2nd baseman playing clown to his SS. Worst case, getting picked off third...esp. when one run down. Didn't think I was being ungentlemanly, and apologies to you both if it was taken that way, but probably should have resisted the urge to comment...what's "off topic" for me may not be so for others. Won't do it again.
