<OT> When I was going to UM in Fla in 68, there use to be a restaraunt chain called LUMM'S. Hot dogs steamed in beer. Anyone familiar with it?

<I feel like I'm in a confessional> No problem, chaz. Gorilla Hunting is a gaming theory, not a religion. You are free to invest your stash any way you want, as long as you promise to keep us appraised of your results. Who knows, LUMM might actually grow into a Shiny Pebble some day <g>.

I have to apologise to you and the thread; we had tons of company tonight, and are leaving for San Luis Obispo in the morning, so I will be unable to post my most embarrassing moment <and it was a beaut> until Sunday. I hope Glenda will still show me hers after all that delay <vbg>.

chaz, let me repeat to you what I hear wrt LUMM. "They have no product, they have no financial info available. They have an idea that sounds good, but is not represented with any demonstrable result. "

If you see it differently, please let me know. I have not actually researched the company, but have been following some interesting debates on the JDSU thread, so my information is not unbiased, though I try to be.

chaz,

>>t's not a gorilla game selection, but I've decided to take a small position in
LUMM....1,000 shares for about $3,000. I've not done something like this before,
make a bet on a very small non-US BB technology company, but I can't shake the
feeling that they're going to do very well. <<

Nice call on LUMM so far. I looked at the stock several weeks ago as a result of reading the JDSU thread. It was trading up on much higher than average volume (around 3) and I see it has been as high as 5 today. It may be worth doing a "hail Mary" as you say. The Molex connection has me wondering if there really is something to this company. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
