Lee, I hope your post did not mean...what it now appears to have meant. SI is simply a microcosm of the real world. They are the same place. We cannot insulate ourselves from ignorance, viciousness, or thoughtlessness in either of these worlds. The only way to take a stand in either world is to assert your right to be in them...and to participate and be heard. Your loss to SI would be great, as there would be one less good voice, to speak to another point of view. And on a personal level, many good friends would miss you... I don't believe that silence is a forceful argument, in most cases. It tends not to be heard... I hope you will not deprive us of your valued words... Barry
