Hello Ann and thread. I read your link and had already heard plenty about it. I am surprised I have not seen Frank responding yet. gg.

Well, this beats it all. All those months AG has denied that the FED is watching the stocks and now this. I am not quite sure how this works. It was reported that his wife owns a lot of stocks and the biggest holdings are Abbott Lab and Heinz. I think Heinz is called a defensive stock and works pretty well when investors are worried about the market. And the markets were plenty worried after this speech. Well, Heinz did well. Maybe Frank is right. I do believe that things are going overboard. Not only is the FED watching inflation now it's stocks among other things.

BTW. Anybody heard one of MER's bears, Clough? leaving the firm. It was said that a lot of these bears are now having a hard time. Investors don't mind you being a bear but if you are a frequent bear in a big bull market, investors get tired of that stance. You are working with their money. Bear Gail Dudack was surprised that the bears are being attacked now. She said: I always thought that investors would like to hear both views.
Yeah, I guess they do but most of all they like to hear the right view.

I hope this new stance from the FED will not give the bears a new lease on life.

Well, I guess I'd better got some shut eye. After a sleepless night, and it being here after midnight EST, it gets to you. gg.

The nets took it on the chin but Intel did great in this down market.

Yes Ann. I know I posted it to me. The edit message was still on.
