"I don't need no stinking title behind my name. I've often found that people who need titles behind thier names might just as well wipe their well, behinds with those titles."

many, many individuals have worked long and hard to obtain the skill and knowledge that is then designated by the title. often there has been tremendous sacrifice involved. and often there is extreme dedication to the chosen field. for some, it represents a life-long dream.

a title is a means of describing and identifying skill sets. i mean, would you prefer taking your chances with a man that turns out to be CPA, when what you were seeking was a heart specialist, because you "prefer to take someone at face value, then tag a personal title(but not one usually found in the corporate world) to them based on what they have proven to me. Or what they have accomplished in my presents"? of course not.

let's not lump everyone together in this manner. you do an awful injustice to the persons i've described above. and you limit your own thinking with such an outlook too, don't you agree?

:)
