I perused the proposal on the boeing web site, and it looks like an excellent offer to me, and one which I will vote for. As for who controls the pension plan, that has never been a strike issue for me, even though it might be for the union leaders. After the teamster's fund was raided by the union, I really have no more confidence in the fund being in the unions hands, than the companies. I think the 50$ per year of service, was a very decent increase. Perhaps after the ratification vote, we can move on to discussions more pertinent to this thread.
