Dan you are adept at putting words in peoples mouths on generalities. You are so wrapped up in yourself and your brainwashed ideas you assume to know it all. Read what I said not what you think I said. I haven't stated all scripture is a lie. I stated much allegory was reported as historical events. As history it is a lie. As allegory it provides much truth and James being more adept and open minded sees things you cannot. There is much truth in scripture if you can understand and separate the truth from Roman ignorance.

I maintain the Romans took old allegories and drama and rewrote as history. Anyone with an unbiased mind can look beyond their theology and search historical religions and see from documents etched in stone the origin of the Christ story and all items credited to Jesus put there in stone thousands of years before Rome created Christianity.

Linguistics and word origins will show you truths you can't even imagine.
