Hi H James Morris; Regarding the AP article you quoted, and Alan Greenspan hinting at raising rates again in October...

Didn't we hear the same thing just before the first hike two months ago, that it was going to be the last one for the year? And then before this most recent hike, it was going to be last.

But the market don't care.

It's like the cook is trying to get the frog to jump out of the pot by informing him that he is going to keep raising the water temperature. But the cook is raising the temperature too slowly to bother the frog, and the frog is convinced that each new increase in temperature is the last.

James,re:"WEALTH EFFECT". Japan had it. Thailand had it.
Taiwan had it most Asian country had it one time or
another. Finally, it's our turn to enjoy the wealth effect.

I think $10000/month for the rest of one's life(assuming
the other INSURANCE STUFF are taken care of) should be
enough.

The way the market, the government, the financial industry
(Salesman/woman) tell us, we sucks NO MATTER HOW MUCH WE
HAVE. Keep buying/investing ..... I think this is crazy,
scary and scandalous.

I think it is getting to be a 'sport' not 'investing for
well-being'. I beat you, I have more shit than you ...
trust me, this think will eventually kill you. Then, that
has been my believe that "NATURE" will find its way to
cure(kill) itself.

As someone suggested, 'internet' reinvented many things.
It reinvented Walmart/Walgreen/....company's communications
....

Most important of all, a 'sport' of 'making money the
new fashion way', fast and easy.

Not that some of these companies are not for real, THE
PROBLEM is when it finally becomes REAL, the fun is gone
and the stock price becomes normal.

Retailing still requires a lot more than the 'store front'
on the web, I believe.
