You seem pretty independent as a voter. Even so, if you rated the politicians with 10 being ideal, Clinton is a 1, Gore a 3, and the worst Republican candidate, Gary Bauer, a 4. I'll vote for the republican candidate, regardless of who he/she is.

So now you want to raise the standard!

If Bill Clinton has proven anything, it is that the US can withstand multiple, concurrent protracted disasters. Sheesh, imagine if it were only "two for the price of one"? They sorta snuck Reno in there with all the other disasters didn't they?

And AlGore, he's been a most loyal disaster in training, hasn't he? Sorta lost all those billions in Russia. I wonder how much will come back via campaign cash?
