Not only poor judgement, but pure hypocrisy.

...[allowing Anthony to remain] would threaten the
integrity of Silicon Investor - and we simply could
not, in good conscience, allow that to happen. The
bottom line is that true integrity has no price tag...

Here's the price tag. Isn't it odd that Anthony was the biggest and most vocal basher of these scam online gambling companies? I leave it to the reader to discern wherein the true integrity lies.

Investors who don't get enough of a thrill from
the ups and downs of the stock market can now
gamble at an offshore casino through links on two
popular financial sites.

But Quote.com and Go2net [Silicon Investor] are
raising legal questions by carrying advertisements
for the cyber-casino operating from a Caribbean
island, where visitors can play slots, poker,
roulette and other games for money.

The links to Alps Casino, which is run by
NetStrategies Inc. in Antigua, come at a time
when states, the federal government and Congress
are grappling with a proliferation of Internet
gambling -- and how to keep it out of the U.S.

There are no U.S. laws that specifically ban
Internet gambling. But law enforcement officials
maintain that online gaming is illegal anyway
under current state and federal statutes that
prohibit unsanctioned wagering.
