My thoughts on KIDE are that it is an intermediate term hold - probably will keep all of my position until the time of Q1 earnings, then sell half. Then, I will re-evaluate based on sales figures reported and whether or not there is 1) a sequel to the movie and 2) ramp up of Pokemon in Western Europe. Interestingly, I was speaking to a particularly well-traveled friend of mine (also has 2 kids) who thinks that cultural differences n Europe exist that will likely keep Pokemon from being as successful there as it is here. Just his opinion and I do not necessarily concur - just throwing that out there. With regard to GRIN, realize that the agreement has not ben signed with KIDE - which is precisely what Kahn warned about in his interviewbiz.yahoo.com (Grand Toys still in talks for Pokemon license NEW YORK, Aug 26 (Reuters) - Grand Toys International Inc. (Nasdaq:GRIN - news) said Thursday it had signed a deal with a unit of 4Kids Entertainment Inc. (Nasdaq:KIDE - news) to acquire a license for the Pokemon character, but that it has not yet completed that agreement) Anyway,GRIN seems more speculative than KIDE because KIDE wins no matter who produces the products. While GRIN has certainly made traders a bundle and I sure wish I had jumped on it when people first posted about it, it seems riskier as a hold - although it does seem to potentially be a turnaround story - I just have not spent much time evaluating the company itself outside of Pokemon. Certainly, if you have the trading apparatus, I would trade the crap out of GRIN, as you appear to be doing. KIDE is clearly better as a genuine investment to me at this point. Regards, Howard
