Well, now I am in Arizona but most of my life has been spent in Maine and Connecticut. McCain started to make good sense in San Francisco but I gather that today he is back peddling like crazy. He should not. You are right that there is a lot of support for the current status re birth control and all that. I believe most polls conclude that somewhere between 65 and 85% of the population is happy with the way things are. These are the people we are not attracting to the polls.
