jmac, I agree with you virtually all the way. My key point was that even if Rambus erupts through 115 I believe I will have a chance, maybe only one more good one, to buy it back below that. The history of the stock is such that I feel I will get that chance. I could be wrong, in which case the vast majority of my Rambus holdings will continue to grow and grow and I will probably take the proceeds from my little exercise and buy QCOM.

If these few contracts were my only Rambus holdings I would never do as I suggested for fear of getting totally left behind.

Just an idea for riding the wave and pocketing some gains in a specific market situation.

the world of puts and calls is chinese to me. I am either long, short or on the side lines. I am long RMBS, am sold on the story, have got the tee shirt and hold 3000 shares. Tell me, what in your opinion is the best "INSURANCE" I can buy???
