I just remembered one guy, whom I used as an expert witness in a case last year, he graduated from the Coast Guard academy, and was career Coast Guard. I've sent him an email asking if he'll answer questions Ammo may have. One thing Ammo ought to consider is whether he wants to be in the Coast Guard for years. I don't think the Merchant Marine Academy makes you serve any time. After reading "A Perfect Storm," no way would I go to sea.

"Dr. Beach," the guy who rates beaches, is an oceanography professor at University of Maryland. That sounds like a wonderful job ~ rating beaches, that is.

Rambi, who has a better deal with regard to household chores? Men or women? An interesting poll..

portraitofamerica.com

Men and women both think household chores are shared fairly, but women are less sanguine about the arrangement. Married men say household chores are shared fairly by a 71% to 16% margin. Sixty percent (60%) of married women agree, 32% do not. Meanwhile, 78% of married men who say that chores are not split equally concede that their wives do more of the chores.
