There has been enormous focus on the failure of ICO and Iridium. What about the competition that globalstar will face from regional GEOs like ACES and Thuraya? Can Globalstar compete against them? In Asia and Africa G* has credible SPs only in China, Taiwan, Korea, South Africa and Saudi Arabia. Are these markets closed forever? Is my analysis incorrect? Has G* announced service plans in any countries in these continents (other than the countries I have mentioned?)
