Ah, I didn't realize. Just got back from running errands--having a couple of friends over to brunch tomorrow to introduce them to the joys of the Internet--which means that I have to feed them (one is a vegan, which really complicates things). Also have to clean up my apartment, which is such a mass of paper flying around that the Collier brothers would have felt right at home! Even re the "hot people" list, which is, I grant you, more of an ego boost: Some of the people, such as Chuzzlewit, not only belong on this hot list because their postings (coffee shop and stock threads alike) are so thoughtful and incisive but also because there is an ego boost that helps encourage them to post more good stuff. This is an honest open question: Does the benefit I just suggested outweigh the negative aspects?
