There are many who, of late, have been suspended or terminated from SI for not following various SI "Terms of Use". They've been doing it in an arbitrary manner. siliconinvestor.com ...infringes or may infringe the intellectual property rights, copyrights or other rights of another. For example, you may not copy and paste a press release into a post on Silicon Investor. He was simply trying to alert you: "Hate to think you would be missing amongst the ranks after THAT post... fantastic!" From what I understand, you can cut & paste portions of articles and press releases, but you have to make sure you identify source. If link is available, it should also be posted. Adding a comment at the end also "neutralizes" the copying, and shows that it is being used for discussion and/or education. It's a real hassle. Many haven't been doing it, but SI's been cracking down of late. Some add a "Fair use for educational purposes" at the end. Cheryl

I just happen to spend most of my time on the thread I started several years ago (this one) and when I see someone potentially in danger of losing their right to post because he or she does not follow the rules, I like to let them know. Your choice, your posts. And I know from reading thousands of posts that many like to make up their own minds and thus "consider the source." Which is another good reason to post the link. Now I have a question... why don't YOU go back to the author and ask him/her for the link. That is normally a reasonable request on this thread... And I still thank you for the post because it has valuable information in it. I just wish I could get through the emotional reaction I apparently triggered by what/how I said what I said. So thanks.
